Senator Miller moved to amend the bill on page three, section one, line thirty-one, after the word “benefits” by changing the period to a colon and inserting the following proviso: Provided, That notwithstanding the provisions of article six, chapter twenty-nine of this code, all employees of the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit that are classified service employees at the time of transfer shall remain classified service employees in the Office of the Attorney General.
